John Zogby vaulted onto the national scene with his dead-on prediction of final vote totals in the 1996 Presidential election. He currently conducts polls for Reuters, NBC News, dozens of newspapers, and a host of major organizations and corporations. Correct calls in hard-to-predict national elections in Israel and Canada have burnished his reputation around the globe. Thanks to a mathematical model that focuses on the individuals most likely actually to vote, his survey results often differ sharply from those of other pollsters, and quite often he has been right when they were wrong.
