I am an immigrant myself and I cannot be prejudiced in any way but I immigrated to the United States and not to China or Mexico. Immigration has to be controlled and balanced so we do not loose our American heritage and the American way of life.

[The problem] is the current tendency of the various ethnic immigrant groups to constitute another interest group -- pursuing their ethnic "rights," privileges and entitlements.

I support Buchanan. The USA is like a lifeboat. If a lifeboat can only carry 12 people and a 13th person swims up to the boat and asks to come aboard, adding that 13th person will cause the boat to sink and then all aboard will perish.

I was an Afghan, now I am an American, but not an Afghan-American. I'd really like to know, if someone comes in your house without your permission and you do not know him or her, you would let the person stay in your house? Do you let in only the people you invite? We should have the control of our beautiful house, America

... drive out to Northern Virginia to see the real results of unrestricted immigration. Whole towns where I grew up now look like they were transplanted from overseas. Mobs of Mexican and Guatemalan men congregate outside the 7-11s hoping for day labor, generating mountains of garbage that spill into the road, frightening away women and children ...

I have never agreed with Pat Buchannan on anything but I think he has this situation right. You do not have illegal immigrants making your life harder because they take up all the jobs you could get. No illegals are going to replace you on TV. Most of the people here in the Southwest do not work in the media. You need to come out here and watch all the illegal immigrants coming down your streets, stealing your cars, bringing drugs across the border and basically ruining the quality of life for the working class.

To err on the side of caution and protection of America as we now know it is pure common sense. To do anything else and be wrong will doom America because if Buchanan's analysis turns out to be correct, by the time we are sure -- the camel's nose will be in the tent, as well as the rest of his ugly self. Thanks for such thoughtful and thought -- provoking programs.
