SEOUL, April 1 Asia Pulse - POSCO said Friday it will increase prices on some of its steel products by 20,000 won (US$15) per ton from May, creating concern over the move's effect on the prices of related products.
From May 1, POSCO said the domestic prices of hot-coiled, cold-rolled, galvanized and electric galvanized steel products will go up 20,000 won (US$15) per ton after discontinuing a special discount in effect since the fourth quarter of 2000.
The prices of full-hard and pickling oiled steel sheets will also rise by 20,000 won per ton after the company halves discounts.
