SEOUL, April 1 Asia Pulse - North Korean leader Kim Jong-il is known to have told Indonesian President Megawati Sukarnoputri during their talks that he has an intent to meet President Kim Dae-jung continuously, a government official said Sunday.

"At the Saturday talks with President Kim Dae-jung, Megawati also said `Kim Jong-il fully understands President Kim's various remarks or policies'," the official noted.

Asked whether Kim Jong-il's remarks meant he hoped to make a reciprocal visit to Seoul or hold the second inter-Korean summit, the official said, "It is unclear such remarks are Megawati's interpretation or Kim Jong-il's ...
