SEOUL, April 1 Asia Pulse - Consumer prices rose 2.3 per cent in March compared with a year earlier, stabilizing at the two-percent level for three months in a row, the National Statistical Office (NSO) said Friday.
The year-on-year consumer price hike rate was 2.6 per cent in January and February.
Consumer prices climbed 0.6 per cent in March from a month earlier.
Tuition fees at schools, nurseries and private institutions soared 5.2 per cent year-on-year and 4.4 per cent month-on-month in March.
Housing expenditures surged 5.6 per cent year-on-year.
