SEOUL, April 1 Asia Pulse - South Korean and Russian officials had agreed to consider promoting trade by linking the ports of Donghae, South Korea, and Nakhodka, Russia, at the first Korea-Far Eastern Siberia Subcommittee held March 27-29 in Vladivostok, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade said.
In the meeting, Russia pledged to enliven the "Mount Paektu Route", which carries passengers and cargo by sea from the South Korean port of Sokcho to the Russian port of Zarubino and on to the Chinese city Hunchun by bus.
