Apple has acquired software firm Nothing Real in a move that will threaten Adobe's stranglehold on the compositing market.
In a statement from Apple, the company says it "plans to use Nothing Real's technology in future versions of its products" -- namely Final Cut Pro. The resulting product-range will draw alarming parallels to Adobe's portfolio and its acclaimed After Effects package.
