TOO GOOD TO LOSE: Three restricted flee agents were tendered offers last week: OLB Joey Porter, RB Amos Zereoue and DE Aaron Smith. The player the team can least afford to lose is Smith, who quickly has developed into the team's best defensive lineman. Smith spent most of his 1999 rookie season on the bench, but he played so well in 2000 when he replaced an injured Chris Sullivan that he never came out of the starting lineup.
