The Red Wings and the Flyers seem to have fans convinced they will carry their regular-season success right on through the NHL playoffs and into a meeting for Lord Stanley's silverware.

"Philadelphia has everything. Good goaltending, veteran leadership, playoff experience and a coach who can instill passion and drive," writes Jacob Amos of Columbus, Ga. About the Western Conference, he contends, "The Red Wings have too many cagey veterans who know how to win in the playoffs. They have Hasek. They have home ice. They have Scotty Bowman. And from the looks of their record, they're mighty hungry."
