Sure, the NCAA Tournament does a nice job of deciding the nation's best team, but when it's over, what does any fan have to show for it but three weeks of intense basketball? It's the dessert course of a season that stretches out over four months. But conference play? That's the meat of the season. And whose mouth doesn't water at the smell of some USDA prime SEC tilts?

Of course, not everyone enjoys his cut of basketball prepared the same.
