In the February 4 issue, a sarcastic comment was made about Colgate's victory at Lafayette. The Patriot League prides itself on having true student athletes who have thousand of fans who do care about wins and losses.

The league does not have a major power, but its fans are proud that the graduation rate for the member schools' athletes is high. No, the Patriot League is not a basketball factory for the NBA, but it does produce future doctors, lawyers, engineers and so forth.
