The Mets and Rangers missed the playoffs last season, but after some offseason moves, many fans believe those two teams have built themsevles into baseball's best offenses.

"Sure, Mo Vaughn and Jeromy Burnitz will strike out a lot, but they will both be good for 30-plus homers," writes Pat Berger of Adams, N.Y. "Mike Piazza should have one of the best seasons of his career, not only because of the added protection and RBI chances, but also because he won't have to carry the team. Additionally, the Mets added two superb speedsters in Roberto Alomar and Roger Cedeno."
