TOKYO, March 1 Asia Pulse - The California-based Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and the Japan Registry Service Corporation (JPRS) have signed an agreement delegating responsibility for a new domain code in Japan.
The .jp "country code top level domain", or ccTLD, was orginally put under the control of ICANN director and Internet leader Dr Jun Murai, through Japanese Network Information Center, JPNIC.
