HANOI, March 1 Asia Pulse - Twenty-four of the 36 bridges planned on the north central section of the Ho Chi Minh Highway have been completed after twenty months of construction work.
The bridges, located in Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien-Hue provinces, were erected by the Thang Long Bridge Building Corporation.
Construction on the Ho Chi Minh Highway, the country's second trans-national motorway, started in the central province of Quang Binh in April of 2000.
The 347-kilometre stretch of the highway in Quang Binh will make up over a quarter of the total length of the road.
