TOKYO, March 1 Asia Pulse - The Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) and 19 member music software firms of the Recording Industry Association of Japan filed a lawsuit in Tokyo District Court on Thursday against MMO Japan Ltd. and its president, Michihito Matsuda, seeking 365.33 million yen (US$2.7 million) in compensation for damages suffered from copying music materials.
