SYDNEY, March 1 Asia Pulse - Technology One Ltd (ASX:TNE) reported a 20 per cent increase in net profit for the half year ending December 31, 2001 compared to the same period last fiscal year, to $A3.876 million ($US2 million).
The company said today it was well positioned continuing growth despite an expected 12 months of difficult market conditions ahead.
A dividend of 1 cent per share was announced, an increase of 41 per cent from the previous corresponding period.
Technology One chief executive Adrian Di Marco said the result was a very solid performance in a difficult market.
"Our results demonstrate Technology One continues to grow strongly and profitably," Mr Di Marco said.
"The company's focus in the last six months had been on consolidating its existing businesses and ensuring that they continue to be well managed and operate effectively.
"This focus will continue over the next 12 months, as it is important we have a solid platform for our continuing growth going forward."
