SINGAPORE, Feb. 27 News Aktuell-AsiaNet - Asian Aerospace 2002 - In Japan, Lufthansa Technik AG has gained a major new customer, for whom it will be providing its MRO services of servicing aircraft components.

For next five years the Hamburg company will be serving doing Total Component Maintenance (TCM) on thirty-six Airbus A300s and A300-600s of the airline Japan Air System (JAS).

Agreement between LHT and this new important customer strengthens Lufthansa Techniks position not only in Japan but also in the overall Asian market.

Total Component Maintenance can afford the customer the very best in reliable maintenance and repair of aircraft components since the entire repair processes of these will be in the hands of the worlds largest provider of quality MRO services.

For Japan Air System contracted items have been selected out of over 200 part numbers of the components that Lufthansa Technik will be servicing at its facility and corporate headquarters in Hamburg.
