Poetry contest winners

The Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County announced the winners of the River of Words National Environmental poetry contest. There were 17 winners from middle and high school students at the local level. All poems will be submitted to national contest.

The grand prize winner is from L.A. Ainger Middle School: Aimee Cervenka.

Other winners from L.A. Ainger Middle School: Taryn Gainer, Kellie Haver, Stephanie Hess, Jennifer Belmont, Leah Kinsey, Thomas Lutz, Sarah Mallah, Caitlin Thomas, Patrick Shaffer and Justin Clemens.
