According to unofficial election results, voters nationwide approved $10.6 billion, or 84 percent, of the $12.7 billion of bond referendums on the November 6 ballots. While voters in Texas and California overwhelmingly approved a slew of bond initiatives, those in Colorado defeated a majority of the nearly $1 billion in proposed debt.
