The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) has approved new document templates for commercial loans issued by co-lenders.
Jeff Williams, managing director, David L. Babson & Co., a member of the MassMutual Finance Group and chairman of the MBA's co-lending working group, said, "The documents will service as a blue print for co-lending agreements between portfolio lenders. Our group's goal was to draft documents that represent the best practices of portfolio lenders actively involved in co-lending."
