West Central Division. (MTNA Division News).(Brief Article)
In April, Janice Wenger, NCTM, will become the West Central Division (WCD) president. She has served admirably as WCD competition coordinator the past two years as well as local chair this year. She is professor of piano, accompanying and piano literature at the University of Missouri at Columbia, where she also serves as keyboard area coordinator.
Wenger holds a B.M. degree from Kansas State University, an M.M. degree from the Eastman School of Music and a D.M.A. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music. She has studied with Robert Steinbauer, Barry Snyder, Robert Spillman, Richard Cass and John Perry.
