AT&T Wireless Services Group's "Project Angel" fixed-wireless system-once the most talked-about wireless broadband technology on the market-now is in the hands of San Jose, Calif.-based Netro Corp., which bought the assets, including the company's development team, an intellectual property license, equipment and proprietary software, last week for $16 million in cash and 8.2 million shares of Netro common stock.
Shares of Netro were trading at $3.62 at RCR Wireless News press time.
