DENVER -- More than a thousand children from across the country have offered their visions of freedom, which have been woven together to create a giant American Flag. The 42x22-foot AT&T Broadband Freedom Flag, nearly the size of a tennis court, combines 1,034 decorated squares creating a mosaic of children's artistic feelings about freedom.
Colorado's First Lady Frances Owens and local school children will unveil the flag on Friday, January 25. The event will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The flag will be on display at the Museum until February 1.
