MILWAUKEE -- Brady Corporation , a world leader in identification solutions, has introduced ID Pal(TM) Labeling Tool, the newest addition to the company's line of hand-held, thermal-transfer printers. Designed specifically to meet the requirements of professionals working in the electrical and datacom industries, the ID Pal(TM) printer provides an industrial-quality, affordable and easy-to-use solution for on-demand label-printing applications including wire and cable marking; control panel, patch panel and component labeling; and asset and general identification. At a retail price of $139, the ID Pal(TM) unit is the most affordable hand-held printer offered by Brady.

ID Pal(TM) drop-in label cartridges are easy to load and available in four high-performance materials designed for flat, curved, textured, or highly textured surfaces. The unit's built-in intelligence automatically senses tape width and formats the label accordingly. All labels include an exposed liner for easy label removal. The unit also has pre-programmed electrical and datacom symbols and offers five font sizes. In addition, the ID Pal(TM) printer minimizes material waste, allowing up to twice as many labels to be printed per cartridge when compared to competitive products; and is economical to use, requiring just six AA batteries to print over 3,500 one-inch labels.
