The Atlanta Journal-Constitution for November 28th reported the bizarre apprehension of a clumsy burglar. Derrick Van, 36, of Smyrna, Georgia, was looting a home in south Fulton County at around 11 a.m. after gaining entry by using a screwdriver to open a carport window. He carried a television to his car, then re-entered the house and walked to a rear bedroom, where he accidentally dropped some coins. When he stooped to pick them up, he noticed a man hiding under the bed.
