Subprime giant Option One here is looking for a servicing chief to run its fast growing base of receivables, but also someone who can lead the firm into new frontiers.
"We're looking for a person to manage the entire servicing operation, but also has sales experience and the ability to grow our servicing business," said Option One senior vice president Roger Rizner.
One key area that Option One would like to grow even more is subservicing.
It currently ranks number two among subprime subservicers, but it would like nothing more than to take on the market leader, Fairbanks Capital of Salt Lake City.
"We think there's a real opportunity out there for subservicing specialists," said Mr. Rizner, who currently serves as Ocwen's servicing chief.
Once a new servicing manager is found, Mr. Rizner would continue to oversee the operation, but would serve mostly as an advisor while taking on other duties at the company.
