If you're not getting better, you're losing ground, and that puts you in the running for this season's LIP (Least Improved Player) Award.
1. Kelvin Cato, Rockets. In 10 years, Hakeem Olajuwon still will be better than Cato, the player the team was counting on to fill its void in the middle. When he's not busy underachieving, he's nursing another injury.
2. Eddie Jones, Heat. The 18 points, 5.2 rebounds and three assists look nice, but Jones would be the first to admit he can do more on a team that desperately needs help. His career-low 40.3 percent shooting and extended scoring droughts are a mystery for a player with his talent.
