Jets at Raiders
In last season's meeting between these teams, the Raiders clinched a spot in the playoffs and held the Jets to 10 yards rushing in winning, 31-7. Had this season's game been played in mid-September, as originally scheduled, the Jets' offense might have had similar problems. But the Jets' new offense has hit its stride with Curtis Martin leading the way on the ground. Martin should fare well against Oakland's struggling run defense, but the Raiders' wealth of offensive options will be too much for the Jets. The Raiders will squeak by in their quest for a first-round playoff bye. Prediction: Raiders 24, Jets 21.
