In what shapes up as a weak 2002 quarterback class, Maryland's Shaun Hill is getting some notice as a possible late-round prospect. Hill doesn't have any outstanding athletic qualities, but he has adequate natural skills and is a proven winner with leadership ability. His toughness and poise never were more apparent than in Maryland's come-from-behind win over North Carolina State to clinch the ACC championship. Hill won the game with a touchdown pass in the final minute.... The NFL isn't exactly overflowing with former Division III players, but look for Menlo College WR Nate Jackson to get an invitation to the scouting combine in Indianapolis. Jackson, who was overlooked by college scouts coming out of high school in San Jose, Calif., and even failed to make it as a walk-on at Division I-AA Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, finished his senior season at Menlo with 105 catches, 1,520 ...
