Road salt, water, or other debris could cause electrical short in power-seat connector beneath driver's seat, posing fire hazard.
Models: 98,000 vans and wagons made 8/99 to 3/01 and not equipped with power front seats. Extraneous material could cause short circuit that prompts circuit breaker to cycle for extended period, which could lead to overheating and fire.
What to do: Have dealer remove the circuit breaker from the fuse panel.
