Check out any cooking show or glossy magazine spread and you're bound to see a high-powered, stainless-steel stove that sells for thousands of dollars. You'd probably assume that any luxury-priced range would trounce run-of-the mill stoves in a head-to-head competition. Well, you'd be wrong.
