Crews were still digging for bodies in lower Manhattan when Bill Clinton stopped by Georgetown University to deliver his lessons on terrorism. He declared that America is "still paying the price today" for slavery, greed, racism, insensitivity, sexism, the segregated South, Eurocentrism and General Sherman's "relatively mild form of terrorism" during the Civil War. In other words, the United States had it coming.

The impeached former chief executive, in addition to tossing Hiroshima and Nagasaki into his speech, reminded everyone about the Christian soldiers during the Crusades, taking Jerusalem with "blood running up to their knees," and killing "every woman and child who was Muslim on the Temple Mount." He complained that America was not doing enough about hate crimes, world income inequality, the deterioration of the oceans, AIDS, dirty drinking water, global warming, and dispossessed Native Americans. Islamic fanatics crashed four passenger jets into Manhattan, Pennsylvania, and the Pentagon because of Geronimo and Kunta Kinte.

Here is Clinton adviser Dick Morris's description of how Bill Clinton handled the bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993: "When the terrorist gang controlled by Osama bin Laden exploded a bomb in the World Trade Center in 1993, killing six and injuring 650 others, President Clinton did not even visit the site of the attack. He remained aloof and uninvolved. Where President Bush insisted, from the outset, that the Trade Center attack on his watch was a declaration of war by foreign terrorists against the United States, Clinton treated the 1993 attack as a criminal-justice situation. His failure to mobilize America to confront foreign terror after that attack had dire consequences and led directly to 9/11."
