HK GOVT SEES FISCAL DEFICIT OF US$7 BLN IN APRIL-NOV

HONG KONG - The Hong Kong government's expenditure from April 1, 2001 to November 30, 2001 amounted to HK$154.6 billion (US$19.8 billion), while its revenue reached HK$99.7 billion, the government announced in a release of its financial results.

The resulted in a deficit of HK$54.9 billion (US$7 billion).
