SUBIC BAY FREEPORT, Jan 1 Asia Pulse - A Taiwanese electronics manufacturing firm has finalized an expansion of its operations which will employ at least 1,000 more workers.
Felicito C. Payumo, chairman of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) said that Yi Phone Company of Taiwan is engaged in the production of key parts of compact disc players and television monitors for leading brands like Sony, Matsushita, and Samsung.
Yi Phone president and owner Raymond Liu said that his company is expanding its operations because of the large demand for their products abroad.
