ADELAIDE: A man wanted for the murder of British backpacker Peter Falconio used cable ties as handcuffs, similar to those which bound Mr Falconio's girlfriend Joanne Lees, the SA District Court was told yesterday. Bradley John Murdoch, 44, used the ties to bind a 12-year- old girl and her mother, who were raped and abducted in South Australia's Riverland. ''The accused [Murdoch] put black cable ties around their wrists and the more they tried to get out of the cable ties, the tighter they got,'' prosecutor Liesl Chapman said.
