KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 4 (Bernama) -- Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd hopes to achieve 30 percent of the local passenger car market by next year, driven by higher sales of Honda City and Honda Accord units.

Managing director and chief executive officer Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Seiji Kuraishi said Honda Malaysia has put a sales target of 24,000 units next year, backed by 20 to 30 percent sales contribution by new Accord models which were launched today.

"We are very much on track to meet our sales target of 18,000 units for 12 months in 2003," he told reporters at a press conference after the launching today. …
