A woman testified at the Air India bombings trial that Canadian Sikhs sent money to Sikhs in London plotting the assassination of then-Indian prime minister Rajiv Gandhi.
The woman, who is under police protection and by court order cannot be identified, is the star witness for government prosecutors in the trial of accused Air India bombers Ripudaman Singh Malik and Ajaib Singh Bagri.
The men are charged with eight counts of murder and conspiracy in the 1985 Air India bombings that killed 331 people.
