Robert Rackard An auction 700 lots of antiques and furniture will be held by Robert Rackard, Caim, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford on Saturday next, 8 November.

Items include a Georgian mahogany chest on chest, estimate [euro]3,000-3,500; Victorian mahogany bookcase, [euro]2,500-3,000; William IV mahogany card table, [euro]1,400-1,700;Victorian mahogany drum table, [euro]2,500-3,000; pair Irish mahogany hall tables, [euro]2,600-3,000; and a Georgian mahogany painted dial longcase clock, [euro]3,000-3,500.

Mullen Laurel Park An auction of antique furniture and fine art will be held by Mullen's Laurel Park tomorrow.

A pair of satinwood painted display cabinets is estimated to sell for [euro]2,800-3,600;Victorian mahogany telescopic dining table, [euro]1,800-2,200; c19 French kingwood and marquetry commode, [euro]2,200-2,800; and a Victorian rosewood bonheur du jour,[euro]3,200-3,800.

Other lots include a brass bound mahogany wine cooler, French gilt clock, pair table lamps, bronze figure of a young boy, Victorian oil lamp, and a cut glass and gilt brass chandelier.

Art Auction The Lions Club will hold a sale of 110 lots of fine art at the Newgrange Hotel, Navan on Friday next. Works are by John Behan, Graham Knuttel, Roy Lyndsay, RoseStapleton, and many others.
