The French chemicals group Rhodia, yesterday unveiled its worst-ever quarterly results. The disappointing figures include a net loss of 89m euros, compared with 16m euros for the third quarter of 2002, and a gross operating margin of 5.8 per cent, as opposed to 11.5 per cent one year earlier. The group's sales show a yearly drop of 19 per cent, to 1.29bn euros.
