A CAMPAIGN to attract more people to adopt or foster children is being run in North Somerset next week.

It is part of National Adoption Week which is being held from November 3-9.

During the week, North Somerset Council's adoption and fostering team will be available at a number of information stands in supermarkets throughout the district.

People will also be able to speak to social workers and experienced foster carers and adopters.

The stands will be at Tesco in Nailsea on Monday, Iceland in The Precinct, Portishead, on Tuesday and at Sainsbury's in Worle on Wednesday.
