DON'T expect Sen. Panfilo Lacson to sing or dance when he finally hits the campaign trail in the next few months in his bid for the highest position in the land.
Lacson, who is confident he would be chosen as the united opposition's presidential standard-bearer, said he will not engage in any of these theatrics because these just "didn't fit" his personality.
Instead, Lacson, a former national police chief and now opposition senator, intends to do more talking than belting out a song or dancing the Mambo for the crowd when he goes campaigning for the presidency.
"I'll just explain to the people my platform. I'll just explain that I'm not a drug lord, kidnapper and as a matter of fact I've been a nemesis of drug lords and kidnappers of this country," Lacson told foreign media correspondents in Manila in a recent gathering.
Lacson was responding to queries on how he intends to go about his election campaign, whether he would engage in singing and dancing to woo peoples' votes.
