POLICE have traced the source of the ammunitions seized from the house of a suspected Magdalo supporter to members of class '95 of the Philippine Military Academy, the batch to which most of the Oakwood mutiny leaders belong.
Supt. Araceli Hofilena, head of the Station 5 of the Western Police District, said that three surnames found on one of the cases of ammunition seized from the LTS condominium in Paco, Manila, belonged to PMA Class '95 members with ranks of captain and first lieutenant.
Both Ltsg. Antonio Trillanes IV and Capt. Gerardo Gambala, who led the failed July 27 Oakwood mutiny, were members of PMA Class '95.
Hofilena said the identities were confirmed with the help of the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
