JUST use your hands in weeding out the tombs of your loved ones.
The team head of the Manila Traffic and Peace Keeping Action Team (Matapat) yesterday offered this piece of advice after he and his men confiscated blades of various types at the Manila South Cemetery.
According to Matapat chief Royce Formarejo, weapons of all kinds are forbidden in cemeteries during the All Saints' and All Souls' weekend.
"This includes garden shears," Formarejo said.
As of noon yesterday, Matapat operatives seized 151 bladed weapons including fan knives, butcher knives, jungle bolos and even a menacing samurai.
