Even as the pressure and the clamor for him to run for president mounts, movie star Fernando Poe Jr. appears to have been struck by doubts about his ability, or lack of it, to lead the nation.
The action star, known as ''Da King'' to his legions of fans, worried aloud about his lack of political experience as he talked with guests and friends in the business at the birthday party of former movie star Annabel Rama at the Discovery Suites in Ortigas on Thursday night.

He pointed out that he has never held public office, not even the lowly post of barangay tanod (village watchman).
