Super Eagles star Nwankwo Kanu made history Tuesday night when he wore the captain's armband for the first time in his four-year stay at Highbury as Arsenal laboured to a penalty shoot out victory over Nationwide Division One strugglers Rotherham in a Carling Cup tie.
