The Sarasota Opera is bringing its work outdoors.

Beginning Wednesday, the opera will present a series of free outdoor lunchtime concerts in its courtyard.

Each concert will feature four singers and a pianist from their Fall Outreach Program. The singers will perform an assortment of selections from popular operas.

The Outdoor Courtyard Concert program will present four free concerts during the next two weeks.

You can catch Wednesday's concert at 12:15 p.m. in the courtyard next to the Sarasota Opera House, 61 N. Pineapple Ave. Upcoming lunchtime concerts are scheduled for Nov. 7, 12 and 14.

For those workers on a lunchtime crunch, the Opera Cafe will be open during each of the concerts selling sandwiches from Epicure and

pastries from C'est La Vie!
