Kampala, Uganda (PANA) - Contrary to claims by various scientific reports that condoms helped Uganda reduce HIV/AIDS prevalence by 13% percent over the past 17 years, the country's President Yoweri Museveni has insisted behavioural change did the trick.

Museveni enumerated various measures taken to reverse the prevalence of the killer disease from 18% when it was first diagnosed in 1986 to the current 5 percent,

Addressing the 11th international conference of People Living with HIV, Museveni, dismissed condom use, saying his government's expenditure on product was far below other countries, …
