Petronet LNG is a consortium that is backed in India by Gas Authority of India, Indian Oil Corporation, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation and Bharat Petroleum Corporation. Petronet is implementing a Rs3,000-crore liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant with a capacity of five million tonnes at Dahej, just 80 kilometres from Hazira.
