Funding to be received from Japan, says Nyong'o

The Sondu-Miriu hydro-electric power project will be revived.

Planning and National Development minister Anyang' Nyong'o said the Government had received assurance from the Japanese government on continued funding for the project.

He said the assurance came after a visit to Japan by Finance minister David Mwiraria and himself.

"I want to assure cynics that the project will go on as planned," Prof Nyong'o said.
