Osun State Government yesterday adopted the World Bank/Africa Development Bank (ADB) poverty eradication programme aimed at providing more jobs for the unemployed youths in the state.

The decision was reached yesterday during the weekly state Executive Council meeting in Osogbo, according to the State Health Commissioner, Mr. Lanre Afolabi.

Afolabi who briefed newsmen after the meeting stated that the World Bank/ADB programme had earlier been rejected by the former Governor Bisi Akande administration but said the present government was determine to eradicate poverty by providing jobs …
